Welcome Back to another Episode of the podcast! As you have probably noticed we have decided on a new name going forward in ‘The Expert Voice Podcast’! In this one you will see myself and James take a trip down to Leigh Centurions Rugby League Club to Discuss the topic of: ‘The impact of the media on players and coaching staff within professional sport as well as coach recruitment process’ With Chairman and Media Director Mike Latham. Mike was Kind enough to Invite myself and James to watch a game In his Executive Box against Sheffield Eagles, in which Leigh came out victorious with a thrilling 58-10 win.

This was my first ever experience visiting a Rugby League Club and to say I was shocked at how pleasant it was, is a huge understatement. From the players, to the staff, to the owner and the fans everyone had one commonality, a real passion for the club. The environment and atmosphere were so warming, and everyone was super friendly, they made you feel like part of this tight knit community and it was super obvious that the club had a sentimental value to them all. So again thank you to everyone involved at the club for making my day truly enjoyable!
